I am taking CX101 as I have mentioned before…when I am typing this blog, I am actually on the way to Sydney… I am on the flight!!!
Watching 127hrs and typing this at the same time.
Theirs is few things I feel bad with Cathay
1)The phone number which provided online most of them are useless, it is really difficult to connect a real person… there are all recorder before the very last minute!!!
2)After I reached… I have asked did the flight provide a plug for Economy class and she answered No… there’s no plugs provided for this flight, I have asked for another which is the flight I return, she said no again~~ but after all, when I am in the flight (I mean NOW)… there’s a plug for you to use it.
3)Things not yet finished, although they have provided a plug on board but it never works. Green light is on the plug, I am going to try again later!!
4)They have changed my seat form a 2-4-2 road seat to a window seat, I am so angry for that… I tried thousand times to cancel it, first few times, it is worked but it still automatic check in for me. After all I could not cancel it anymore.
Not just bad things, there are good things also:
1)As number 4 said, my seat has changed automatically, so I have said to the woman at the check-in desk, and she said the flight is so full, there are no chance to do it right here now, but she do help me to write a message on the system says that I want a seat from an iles… after I have dinner I rush to the gate since the gate will close on 2330 and I finish my dinner on 2255, the flight is waiting at Gate 68, it is a long way to there, need to take the no-man train~~ I have go on Facebook for a min due to lot of people still lining up!!
I thought there will be no changes, I even forgot that I have leave a message on the counter!! When I reached the gate, and line up for boarding is nothing specials till now…. Until...... I pass over my ticket to the staff, she put it on the machine and I am about the go through and walk down to the plane, she asked me to stop and said: “your seat has been changed due to your request.
I am really please to hear that cause it means I have no need to request people who sit next to me to get out for washroom or a walk!! And also have no need to request to the galley!! Although the seat has been push up really forward (just next to the business class), but I am on the front of the row, the personal TV on the board instead of the seat~~ also the table makes me much more flexible than normal.
Cathay Pacific Airways? I would say it is the best airlines in Hong Kong , South East Asia or even Asia but it’s not yet worldwide.
The best airlines (I think) Worldwide is Lufthansa. It provide private jet and much more service than CX but it did not have an plugs for every class yet, I hope it could enhance this!! I am going to take LH this summer to World Youth Day (WYD)… Let’s see what’s new over there!!!
…extend: remember that I say the plugs were not working? After I ask the Flight attendant, she help me to configure it but it still not working… but when she configuring, I have saw the green light on for a second at the Mag Safe charger. And I try to push harder to the plug and it start to work and my MacBook start to charge!! It’s a good news!! It is still 28mins to be charged as the computer shown now!!! Can’t wait to install FSX…O… I did not get the thing for .iso files…. That’s sucks… if not~~ I could really install it now!! Anyway, thanks the Flight Attendant…( I don’t know her name yet, but I will write a card for her)… also thanks Jason for the FSX provided by you!!!
P.S. Do not trust seatguru at all... the details it says to the seat may not be correct at all..
Going to have my flight tomorrow on Cathay Pacific 101... and problems came out Again!! so sad... since it is Holy Thursday there will be a mass on 2000 in my parish... it is estimated to finish on 2130 or even longer... and my flight is on 2355... it should be just alright in normal situation but I have just received a email which is a notiFly from Cathy Pacific... it sad that due to the peak season in Easter Break, passenger who take CX 101 in 21 April should go on check-in and customs and immigration "3" hours before the flight take off! As most of the email by them, they always say "We heartily thanks for your cooperation"...
and I heartily do not want to receive this email!! Whatever it was... I will not be there 3hrs before the flight take off... instead of 90mins before take off... that's mean I will work as usually!!
What is the worst thing will happen in this situation?... My seat will be taken by others and I am gonna sit in the middle (then 2nd or 3rd sit) of the row!! 9hrs Flight... that would be crap... siting beside peoples I don't know!!!!
Other way, what is the best thing might happen in this situation?... My seat still taken by others... and there's an overbooked on CX101... after all they have not a single seat on the economy class, they must upgrade me to business class...!! Enjoy the brand new business on CX101 B330-33E of cause the possibility is really low~~ but I will keep this in my mind....(at least something good) Cathay could change my seat however they want~~ Hope the good thing will be happen instead of bad!
Luggage still not yet ready~~ need to pack tonight and also socks tomorrow... that's all!!
